These are hard decisions and can be difficult to find the correct match for the child. We encourage each family to find the most suitable Provider for their child. In case it helps, we have had several Providers request that we list them on our website in case a family wants to contact them. 4.  NAMI-Metropolitan Baltimore. NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization. NAMI provides advocacy, education, support, and public awareness so that all individuals and families affected by mental illness can build better lives.

NAMI Metropolitan Baltimore is a NAMI affiliate serving Baltimore City and County. NAMI Metropolitan Baltimore and dedicated grassroots leaders work together to raise awareness and provide essential education, advocacy and support group programs for people living with mental illness and their loved ones.

In 2014, NAMI Metropolitan Baltimore provided services to more than 4,000 people in the Baltimore Metropolitan area.
